Small cannon used during recruiting drives by Confederate forces in middle Tennessee. The carriage measures 13 1/2" long and 4 1/4" tall. The cast iron barrel is 10 1/2" long, 2 3/8" across and has a 1" bore. During recruiting drives in the early part of the war this little cannon would be fired to attract crowds for the recruiters. After the war it wound up in a UCV hall in Shelbyville, Tennessee. This will make a killer little decoration to your war room or UCV collection! Special shipping required for this item.
