Late 1800's Toy Brass Barrel Naval Cannon with Carriage

This is an 1800's toy Naval cannon on a wooden gun carriage. The brass barrel measures 5 1/2" long, is 3/4" across the muzzle and has a 5/16" bore. The gun carriage measures 5 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall from the top of the trunnion caps to the bottom. The carriage has all four wheels, suggesting that this may have been modeled after a ships gun. These small scale toy cannons make excellent decorator pieces, and help spice up the old war room!
