The history, development and deployment of "The greatest battle implement ever devised". Told through photos, drawings and artwork from the time the history was being made. There are 88 9"x 7" pages covering John Garand's early work through the modifications that eventually led to the production of the M14 rifle. This little booklet is a must have for M-1 collectors.
