Late 1800's Eagle Cuff Button

This is a non excavated Eagle button from the Indian Wars period. This two piece button is cuff size and has an American eagle on the face. The back mark is "WATERBURY BUTTON CO". The face is dent free, no mars or blemishes. The eagle is facing to the right, clutching a laurel branch in the right talon and three arrows in the left talon. In the center of the eagle is a plain shield. The majority of the gilt is worn off in the raised areas of the eagle. The shank is still present and standing straight.
