Reproduction Confederate Shadow Box

This is a shadow box of reproduction Confederate items from the Civil War. The display case is sturdy, made of oak and measures 20" wide, 13" high and 2 1/4" deep. It comes ready to hang on the wall, mounting brackets installed. The case contains a reproduction CDV depicting a young Confederate bugler. He is dressed in a sack coat, trousers, kepi and artillery style boots. Hanging from a cord over his shoulder is his clarion, or bugle. Mounted in the center of the case is a single reproduction gauntlet. These were worn primarily by mounted troops, Cavalry and Artillery units. Mounted over the gauntlet is a reproduction of a British 1855 "Duty" bugle. These type bugles were issued extensively by both sides during the war. A reproduced Confederate battle flag lines the back of the case. These shadow boxes make great gifts for the young collector in the family. They're educational and won't put a strain on your budget!
