Model 1849 Colt Pocket revolver produced in 1861. This one has the more desirable 6" barrel with the one line New York address. Serial #191716 is stamped in all locations except for the wedge, which is unmarked. The grips are in great condition with no mars or nicks, missing the varnish in just a couple of spots. The cylinder has no scene remaining. The mechanics are as sound as the day it was made. Excellent example of an iconic Civil war era firearm no collection should be without.
