Chero-Cola Aqua Bottle from Savannah, Ga

This is an aqua soda bottle manufactured between 1914 and 1915 in Savannah, Georgia. The bottle measures 7 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" across the bottom. The bottle has raised lettering that reads "Chero-Cola/6 1/2 FL.OZS" on both sides. Chero-Cola was invented by Claud A. Hatcher, a pharmacist in Columbus, Georgia in 1910. The Chero-Cola company was have a major impact on the early cola industry, and would eventually become the Royal Crown Cola Company in 1955. The bottle is in good condition, but does have chips around half the bottom of the bottle. Along with the raised lettering on the sides, the bottle has raised lettering around the bottom that reads "THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD" and SAVANNAH, GA. The bottom also reads Chero-Cola with a lower case g. It will make a nice addition to any glass or bottle collection.
