This is a secretary's semi annual report of Auxiliary Number 6 of the William H. Erwin Post in the Department of Kansas. The report is preprinted and requires that only the blanks be filled in. The report is for the period ending 31 December, 1941, and covers the total number of members for the Auxiliary, new additions and losses. During that reporting period the Auxiliary N0. 6 showed 45 members in good standing with one loss and one new member through transfer. The one loss was due to non payment of dues. These organizations were a very popular and patriotic way to show the women's support to the armed services, beginning with the Ladies of the GAR and continuing on through the Spanish American War period. The report is in very good condition, the only flaw are the creases where it has been folded in an envelope for decades.
