This is a framed print entitled "Jackson and Lee" by renowned Civil War artist Mort Kunstler. The print depicts Robert E. Lee along with Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson mounted on Traveler and Little Sorrel after the Battle of Gaines Mills. As with all Kunstler prints, the clarity and detail of the print is incredible. Mounted in the matte below the print is an authentic Confederate $20.00 bill. The bill is dated 17 February, 1864 and has the state capitol building in Nashville, Tennessee in the center of the bill. An image of Alexander H. Stephens, the Confederate Vice President, is in the lower right corner. The number twenty is displayed in the upper right corner, as well as being spelled out on the left edge of the bill. This is a late edition bill, and is in good, circulated condition. The frame measures 22 1/2" wide and 22 1/2" tall. It is in very good condition and displays great. If you are in need of a little color for the old war room, this will help you out!
