This is a leather holster made in the 1800's. This one is made after the Mexican style double loop holster, and was a favorite of cowboys, gun hands and greenhorns alike. It's popularity was due to the fact that it held up under the rigorous conditions of the old west. This holster is a single loop, measures 10 1/4" at the longest point and 4 1/2" at the widest point. It can accommodate a belt width of 4". There are no rivets used in the construction of the holster, everything is stitched together. All stitching remains strong and unbroken. There is a simple, but well executed hand tooled design on the body and strap of the holster. This one will fit any revolver with a barrel length of 5 1/2" or less. This one displays well, or can still be used with your Cowboy or Western impression.
