East German Enlisted Leather Waist Belt and Buckle

This is a black leather waist belt and steel buckle for an enlisted man from the East German Army during the Cold War period. This belt was worn with the service or dress uniform. It measures 39" in length and 1 3/4" wide. The length would make this one a medium size. This one is in unissued condition and displays very well. The steel buckle has the East German national emblem in the center and shows no signs of wear. I can not see a makers mark on the back side of it. The belt has three ink stamps on the reverse, I/F, MADE IN EAST GERMANY and 100 NVA. The stitching is solid on the leather and there are no flaws anywhere on the belt or buckle. This will compliment any Cold War or East German collection.
