This is a Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War ribbon for the 64th Annual Convention held in Ohio. The DUVCW was founded in 1885 in Massillion, Ohio. It is composed of women who can trace their lineage back to Union veterans of the American Civil War. This ribbon is for the 64th Annual Convention of the Daughter of Union Veterans of the Civil War held in Dayton, Ohio from 21 - 24 June, 1953. The white ribbon with blue lettering is in good condition and still has some nice color to it. A sticker of a Cardinal has been added to the ribbon quite some time ago. This is not marked so, but I believe that this ribbon was for the Department of Ohio DUVCW reunion held in 1953. If you have a Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War collection this ribbon will look nice in it.
