This is a set of of official programs from the Department of Kansas Grand Army of the Republic annual encampments held in 1932 and 1933. The 1932 encampment was the 52nd annual encampment for the Department of Kansas. It took place 9-12 May, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas. The program was 16 pages and featured not only the activities of the GAR, but all the auxiliaries of the GAR as well. The 1933 encampment was the 53rd annual encampment for the Kansas Department. It was held on 15-18 May, 1933 in El Dorado, Kansas. It is 16 pages as well and follows the same format as the 1932 program. On both programs a penciled in price of $1.00 and $1.10 respectively are clearly visible. These come in a nice 8 x 12 riker case.
