Antique Hanging Door Bell with Indian Wars Cavalry Scene

This is an antique hanging door bell, or chime, from the 1950's. It stands 4 1/2" tall and is 3 5/8" across the bottom. This is a locally made ceramic piece. It is a cream color with a brown ring around the base of the bell. Hand painted on one side are five mounted US Cavalry troopers. All are dressed in the blue uniform of the Indian Wars Cavalry, with one carrying the American flag. The setting puts them somewhere out west, with the sparse vegetation and mountains in the background. The bell shaped chime hangs from a brown woven cord that has an adjustable opening. It makes a pretty good alarm or early warning system for the man cave or war room!
