This is a one piece pre Civil war flower button made by Wadhams, Coe & CO. This company was located in Walcottville, Connecticut and used this back mark, "WADHAMS. COE & CO. while in business from 1835 to 1837. The face has a gold gilt color with a raised floral design on a lined background. The back mark shows WADHAMS. COE & CO SUPER FINE. The shank is present but slightly bent over to the side.
