This is a United Confederate Veterans parade flag from the early 1900's. It measures 16" wide x 11" tall. The flag is made of thin cotton material. It is of one piece construction, with the blue St. Andrews cross and white stars all being dyed onto the red banner. The only stitching is the seam around the border of the flag. The flag is still attached to the wooden stick by one staple at the bottom, the upper staple remains in the stick, but the flag has pulled loose from it. The colors of the flag are still very vibrant, the stars are crisp, but there is some discoloration along the bottom edge of the flag. The stick measures 31" long and has a slight curve to it. This veterans parade flag will fit nicely into your UCV collection.
